This course covers all of the theory for the first of seven sections in GCSE Biology.

All you need to boost your grades, self paced and step by step. All our course instructors are experienced examiners and teachers. Your instructor, Mr Wood has worked as a Grammar school head of department and science teacher for over twenty years and is an experienced GCSE examiner. He is an ex fish farm manager and disease inspector for the Ministry of Agriculture. This wealth of experience allows him to explain things in a real world context, to show you how to answer questions more effectively and where to pick up those extra hidden marks.

How to Use

Remember - learning needs to be active to be effective

  1. watch the full tutorial video and answer the questions
  2. re-watch the video and make notes, using the guide
  3. try the learning games to help memorise the key facts
  4. answer the exam style question - read the examiners comments in the feedback as well as the mark scheme
  5. Complete the diagnostic quiz
  6. Consider your work and complete the progress review
  7. After working through all the topics try as many of the exam past paper questions as you can. There are far more there than you will have time to complete, but the more you complete the better.
